# 1630 Close Range Safety Line Weight w/Nylon Trace # 1631 Close Range Safety Line Weight w/Steel Trace The Close Range Safety Line Weight is very useful for urban applications. With the #1617 Line, the Low (Yellow) Tetra Power Load and the Float Kit, a very quiet and short throw can be achieved, one sufficient to throw a Line over an average house or small apartment building. |

|
# 1635 Medium Range Safety Line Weight w/Nylon Trace # 1636 Medium Range Safety Line Weight w/Steel Trace The Medium Range Safety Line Weight is used as a general purpose weight with both Tetra Power Loads and with various accessories and weights of Line. If maximum range is not needed the Medium Range Safety Line Weight is quieter to use than the Long Range Safety Line Weight. |
|
# 1640 Long Range Safety Line Weight w/Nylon Trace # 1641 Long Range Safety Line Weight w/Steel Trace The Long Range Safety Line Weight when used with the more powerful High (Green) Tetra Power Load and the Long Range #1581 or #1582 Line will give the maximum distance of approximately 450 feet or 150 meters. |

Once having selected the Line to be deployed and the Safety Line Weight to be used, slide the Safety Line Weight over the Barrel of the Tetra Line Thrower and push it down firmly onto the tapered Nylon Sleeve. The taper will grip the Safety Line Weight, holding it in place until firing.
Securely tie the end of the Line to the Trace of the Safety Line Weight and arrange it so it is free of any obstructions. |

Foreign matter remaining inside the Safety Line Weight or Barrel can cause damage to the equipment. It is the operator’s responsibility before fitting the Safety Line Weight to the Barrel to ensure that there is no dirt, sand, water or other foreign material either in the Barrel or the interior of the Safety Line Weight or its outer cover. This is particularly important when working in environments such as rivers, flooded areas or the sea.
